How we work

The work of compliance, done every day.

Compleigh works much like a managed IT service, applied to compliance. For a fixed monthly fee, you have a dedicated team that keeps your requirements up to date, coordinates the work and gives you a clear view of where you stand, without employing a specialist of your own.

What we do

Six things, done consistently.

  1. 01

    Register

We build and keep a complete register of every compliance requirement across your premises. Each entry has its frequency, its next due date, the evidence that supports it and any actions still open.

  2. 02

    Arrange

We book each inspection and service with your preferred contractors, in good time, and confirm access with your manager or site. You keep your contractors and pay them directly.

  3. 03

    Check

We read every certificate and report when it arrives: that it is in date, complete, covers the right equipment and was issued by someone competent to issue it. Anything that falls short goes back.

  4. 04

    Follow through

Defects and recommendations are logged as actions with an owner and a date. We gather quotes for your approval, book the work, and close the action only when there is evidence it is done.

  5. 05

    Cross check

Each month we compare your records against one another. A failed item with no repair logged, a certificate that covers two panels of three, identical readings week after week: these are the gaps inspectors find.

  6. 06

    Report

You can see where every requirement stands at any time, and we send a short monthly report with an overall score. Failures and urgent findings are raised with you the same day.

Alongside your team

Part of your organisation, not a replacement for it.

Your staff still carry out the routine checks only someone on site can do: the weekly alarm test, the water temperatures, the visual inspections. We remind them when each is due, collect what they record and review it.

Your managers stay informed and in control. They approve any spending, they hear about problems straight away, and they can see the register whenever they wish. What they no longer do is hold the calendar in their heads, chase contractors or read certificates late in the evening.

Because we are a team, the work does not stop when someone is on holiday, unwell or moves on. Our work as your compliance coordinator continues without interruption.

Getting started

From first conversation to day to day.

We aim to have each premises set up within a month.

  1. 01

    A conversation

We talk through your premises, who handles compliance today and where the pressure is.

  2. 02

    Your records

You share what you have: certificates, assessments, logs and contractor details, in whatever state they are in.

  3. 03

    The register

We build your register and give you a plain report of what is in order, what is missing and what is overdue.

  4. 04

    Day to day

We take over the calendar, the booking and the checking, with a named lead as your point of contact.

Our standards

What you can hold us to.

  • Every certificate checked within two working days of receipt.
  • Every failed or urgent item reported to you the same day.
  • Every renewal booked before it falls due.
  • A monthly report for each premises.

What stays with you

We do not carry out inspections, testing or repairs; qualified contractors do that. We confirm that records are complete, consistent and evidenced, not that a building or piece of equipment is technically safe. Legal responsibility for compliance remains with the owner, operator or accountable person.

Independent by design

We are paid only by our clients. We take no commission or referral fee from contractors, so nothing stands in the way of sending a poor certificate back.

A conversation is the best place to start.

Tell us about your premises and how compliance is handled today. We will explain how we would work alongside your team, and what it would cost.
